Hacked Text Generator
Text that reads like a feed breaking up. Light enough to stay legible, damaged enough to sell the idea that something has gone wrong with the system.
One-tap styles that survive strict filters
Each of these adds a single combining mark per letter instead of a stack. They stay readable, they cost far fewer characters, and they rarely get stripped by a bio field.

First, the boring disclaimer
This does not hack anything. It produces ordinary Unicode characters arranged to look like interference. Nothing is exploited, no filter is bypassed, and pasting it somewhere gives you no access you did not already have. The word describes the aesthetic.
That is worth saying plainly, because a lot of pages in this niche imply otherwise. If you came here looking for a way into an account, this is not that, and no text generator is.
What makes text read as hacked rather than haunted
The difference is direction and restraint. Horror styles like zalgo grow vertically, dripping several lines above and below. That reads as supernatural. The hacked look keeps the damage close to the line and favors marks that cut across letters, which reads as signal loss.
Practically, that means intensity 3 to 5 with Through switched on and Below turned down. The page loads close to that. If you want a cleaner, more deliberate redaction, the Strikethrough and Slashed styles inside the generator apply exactly one mark per letter and look like censored text rather than broken text.
Do not glitch the whole line. Glitch one or two words inside otherwise clean text, the way a real transmission drops out in patches. Uniform damage across a whole sentence reads as a font choice. Patchy damage reads as failure.
Where people actually use this
- YouTube and Twitch thumbnails, where a damaged word carries the genre instantly.
- Stream titles and channel names, kept light so they stay clickable.
- Discord servers built around hacking, cyberpunk or ARG themes, in channel names and dividers.
- Game mods and UI text for anything set in a failing system.
- ARGs and alternate reality fiction, where corrupted messages are part of the story.
Length, and why your title keeps getting cut
Every combining mark is a separate character. A YouTube title truncates around 100 characters
in search results, and a phrase like access granted at intensity 5 can spend most
of that on the effect alone.
Two habits fix it. Glitch one word rather than the phrase, and use the platform dropdown under the output box so the counter warns you before you paste rather than after. For the full table of field limits across Discord, Instagram, TikTok and X, the main glitch text generator page has it.
One thing not to do with it
Do not use combining marks to sneak banned words past a moderation filter. It works for about a week, every platform now normalizes text before matching, and getting caught costs you the account. Platforms do not moderate the characters. They moderate the behavior.
Hacked text questions
Does hacked text actually hack anything?
No. It is a visual effect made from ordinary Unicode characters. Nothing is exploited, nothing is bypassed, and pasting it somewhere does not give you access to anything. The name describes the aesthetic, not a capability.
What makes text look hacked rather than just broken?
Restraint plus horizontal damage. A little Through, a little Above, and nothing dripping far below reads like a corrupted signal or a failing terminal. Heavy stacking in every direction reads as horror instead.
Can I use hacked text in a YouTube title or thumbnail?
In a thumbnail, yes, since that is an image you control. In a title it displays, but YouTube truncates around 100 characters in search results and every combining mark spends that budget. Glitch one word rather than the whole title.
Will hacked text get my account flagged?
Using Unicode characters is not against any platform's rules. What does get flagged is mass-posting identical strings, or using marks to slip banned words past a moderation filter. Both of those get you moderated for the behavior, not for the characters.
